About us
At Bright Roots ABA Therapy, our mission is to help children grow the skills they need to live more independent, confident, and connected lives. We believe every child’s journey is unique — and our role is to create a plan that respects their individuality, honors your family’s values, and makes progress possible in real, everyday moments.

Our Story
Bright Roots ABA Therapy was born from a desire to provide consistent, relationship-driven care. Unlike large agencies where families may see new faces often, our approach is rooted in stability, trust, and a true understanding of your child’s needs.
Founder Karilys Carrero, BCBA, has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for over five years. She began as a Registered Behavior Technician, became a BCaBA, and then earned her Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification. Throughout her career, she’s worked in homes, schools, and community settings — always with the belief that therapy should be compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each child.
Our Apporach
We combine evidence-based ABA strategies with a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe to learn. Sessions are designed to be engaging and practical — whether that’s practicing communication skills during snack time, learning to follow routines at home, or building social skills in the community.
Parent involvement is at the heart of everything we do. We coach caregivers to use simple strategies that fit into daily life so progress doesn’t stop when the session ends.
